"We would like to appreciate Yellow Hat Consultants Pvt. Ltd., operating under the brand name PEOPLExcellence, for revitalising the Human Resource function at Alpha Overseas International Pvt. Ltd. over a period of eighteen months by setting up the HR processes and policies including the Mission-Vision-Values, redesigning Organograms, defining job roles for the corporate office as well as manufacturing units and most of all for bringing in a culture of performance across our units and functions through a very well designed performance management process.
All managers, executives and frontline supervisors have a clear idea of their job role and a well-defined document of the complete set of responsibilities now. They also have their individual KRAs with corresponding SMART KPIs for daily reference. The range of performance parameters qualifying for each rating in the performance rating scale, is also defined so that each employee has clarity of how well or how fast he or she needs to perform.
The system of periodic reviews, that PEOPLExcellence helped partner, has brought in a discipline of tracking, documenting and course correcting all key areas of performance. The objective rating and linkage with compensation has increased the motivation to perform and has impacted overall productivity of operations.
Sriparna also mentored the design and implementation of a structured skill training programme through her guidance in content development, mode of promotion of the event in selected communities, as well as evaluation and certification process to enable our organisation train and recruit tailors for our units, thereby also helping to spread employment in the societies where our units operate.

The partnering started with a Culture Audit just before the Centenary Year followed by the framing of the Mission-Vision-Core Values and Guiding Principles. The key people mangers underwent a Train the Trainers programme to continuously conduct refresher sessions on core values for the staff.

With the KRA review of FY 17-18 completed successfully, periodic performance reviews, the linkage with compensation established and the KRAs for FY 18-19 being rolled out through multiple communication sessions and active participation of HODs, PEOPLExcellence has successfully partnered establishing a performance driven work culture at Marwari Hospital. This exercise has prompted the team to further streamline Standard Operating Processes and the Annual Budgeting exercise for FY 18-19. Reward and recognition and employee engagement initiatives are now a routine.

“We engaged PEOPLExcellence to conduct a leadership program for our senior managers. The programme was conducted over a two day period at Ffort Raichak. Ms. Sriparna Bose Pyne, Director – PEOPLExcellence, was our trainer. The programme was conceptualised in such a way that our learning took place away from our workplace where every day routine was broken and the minds of the individuals were relaxed. Amalgamation of intense theory and fun games made the entire experience an enriching one. “Managing teams effectively was designed for our Supervisory level team members in the hotel. It dealt with alignment to the leadership role by an individual and then taking charge of ensuring that respective teams achieve the big picture. Again, her workshop was a mix of classroom sessions and learning instruments which kept the audience engaged.
